Apps and Platforms
Understand which restaurant workflows belong in the dashboard, Menuella Mobile, Menuella Terminal, and guest-facing apps.
Menuella supports several ways for restaurant teams and guests to use the same platform. The interface changes by platform, but the important logic is shared: the selected restaurant and store, menu data, availability, order rules, orders, and guest records remain connected.
Which surface should I use?

The table describes product responsibility, not identical screen layouts. A feature may appear in a different navigation location—or use a shorter workflow—on iOS, Android, Windows, or Terminal.
Merchant dashboard
The browser dashboard is the main place to configure the restaurant, manage the website, review reports, connect AI assistants, and access the full set of operational tools.
Menuella Terminal
Menuella Terminal is a dedicated Android device app for service operations. It is designed for fast order handling at the counter or in the kitchen, with device-specific support for receipts and the terminal’s hardware.
The Terminal is not the same product as the browser dashboard. Use the dashboard or Menuella Mobile for broader configuration such as website editing, team access, AI connections, and detailed reports. Terminal is optimized for live service: sign in with its QR code or user code, select the store, receive orders, change availability, and complete service actions.
Menuella Mobile and Windows
Menuella Mobile for iOS and Android provides a companion way to work with the same restaurant data. The Windows app provides another desktop surface for the same operational concepts. Use these apps when you need to manage the restaurant away from the browser; the available controls depend on the platform and the person’s permissions.
Guest-facing apps and website
Guest-facing apps, the restaurant website, online menu, and ordering pages are consumption and ordering surfaces. Guests can browse the current menu, see availability, place orders, use enabled payment methods, make reservations where enabled, and use loyalty or gift-card features where available. They do not replace the merchant dashboard, Mobile, or Terminal for restaurant administration.
One source of truth
Changes to shared restaurant data follow the same rules wherever they are made:
- Confirm the active restaurant and store before changing store-scoped data.
- Change the data from a supported merchant surface.
- Allow the platform to synchronize the result across the dashboard, Mobile, Terminal, website, and guest apps.
- Verify the guest-facing result before relying on it during service.
When a task is documented as a dashboard workflow, use the equivalent action in the app’s navigation when that surface supports it. The logic is shared even when the controls and screen names differ.
