Menuella Terminal
Run live order service with Menuella Terminal: sign in securely, select a store, manage orders, control availability, print receipts, and monitor the connection.
Menuella Terminal is Menuella's dedicated Android application for restaurant service. It is designed for a counter, pickup area, or kitchen station where staff need to see incoming orders and act on them quickly.
The Terminal is hardware-aware and supports Sunmi terminal devices, including their built-in receipt printers. It is different from the browser dashboard: the dashboard is the main configuration workspace, while Terminal is the focused service workspace.
Sign in on first launch
Terminal does not use a dashboard pairing code. When it opens without an active session, it automatically displays a QR code and a short user code.
Scan the QR code with a phone or tablet, or open the displayed activation address on a phone, tablet, or desktop and enter the code. Complete Menuella sign-in there. Terminal waits for approval and signs in automatically when the authorization succeeds.
See Authentication for the complete flow.
Work in the selected store
After sign-in, Terminal loads the restaurants available to the signed-in account. If the account has more than one location, open the store selector in the drawer and choose the store you want to operate. Orders, availability, settings, reports, and printer output then use that store.
What you can do in Terminal
- Orders — Receive live orders, switch between Live, Scheduled, and Done phases, open order details, and move orders through their service workflow.
- Order actions — Accept orders, adjust ready times where available, mark orders ready or completed, cancel with a reason, and refund eligible orders.
- Printing — Print customer receipts and kitchen tickets from an order. Settings also provides a test receipt and receipt-header privacy controls.
- Item availability — Temporarily enable or disable products, categories, and modifiers without changing the underlying menu content.
- Order settings — Pause all orders, enable or disable delivery and takeaway, and configure timing, scheduling, closing-buffer, and open-order limits.
- Today Sales — Review the day's order totals and print a sales report.
- Connection support — See online/offline state, open Wi‑Fi settings, and inspect network diagnostics including API latency and WebSocket status.
What belongs in the dashboard
Use the dashboard for full menu editing, store configuration, team access, website and digital presence, reports, AI connections, and other account-level administration. Terminal provides the fast operational controls needed during service; its layout may differ from the Apple, Android, and Windows apps, but the store context and restaurant logic are shared.
