Authentication
Sign in to Menuella Terminal securely by scanning the QR code or entering the user code shown on the Terminal.
Menuella Terminal uses a secure device authorization flow. Credentials are entered on a personal phone, tablet, or desktop—not on the shared Terminal.
Sign in on the Terminal
- Open Menuella Terminal on the Android/Sunmi device.
- Wait for the welcome screen to display a QR code and user code.
- Scan the QR code with a phone or tablet, or open the activation address shown on the Terminal from any browser.
- If you opened the address manually, enter the displayed user code.
- Sign in to Menuella and approve the request.
- Leave Terminal open while it waits for approval. It polls automatically and opens the Orders screen after authorization.
Store access
After authentication, Terminal loads the stores available to the signed-in account. If you manage multiple locations, open the Terminal drawer, select the store, and confirm the restaurant name before handling orders.
If the code expires
Return to the Terminal welcome screen and start again. Terminal generates a new authorization request; do not reuse an old code.
Sign out or reassign the Terminal
Use Settings → Reset device / Unpair when the hardware is being reassigned or must be signed in to another account. This removes the saved sign-in and store data from that Terminal.
Security
- Never enter a password on a shared counter device.
- Only approve a request that you started on the Terminal in front of you.
- Keep the user code private while authorization is pending.
