At Menuella, we build software that helps restaurants run their day and grow online. Central to that mission is our commitment to creating inclusive digital products that everyone can use — guests placing an order, restaurant teams managing their venue, and everyone in between.

Our commitment

We are committed to providing digital platforms that are accessible to the widest possible audience, and we are actively working to increase the usability of our products. To support accessibility, we take a variety of actions, including:

• Reviewing our websites and apps for technical compliance, including with external specialists.
• Carrying out user testing that includes people with disabilities.
• Maintaining an accessibility roadmap for continual improvement.
• Promoting good accessibility practice across our product and engineering teams.
• Providing training for our team and consulting specialists to support our commitment.

Level of accessibility

We are dedicated to making our digital products accessible to everyone. To further enhance the experience, we are actively working on the following improvements:

• Ensuring that every screen can be navigated using the keyboard alone.
• Providing text descriptions for images to improve understanding.
• Enhancing colour contrast for better readability.
• Structuring heading elements for logical navigation.
• Optimising text and layout so they stay clear and usable when zoomed in.

Compliance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. They define three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Menuella is currently partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard.
