Google Business
Manage the restaurant’s Google Business profile description, posts, and connected review workflow.
The Google Business area connects supported Google Business profile work to the Menuella dashboard. All profile and post changes apply to the active restaurant and store selected in the top-right merchant context.
Where to find it: Google Business in the main dashboard navigation
Connect Menuella
Before using profile, post, or connected review features, give Menuella access to the correct Google Business location. Follow Connect Menuella to Google Business to invite the Menuella account and choose the appropriate access level.
Profile description
Open Google Business → Profile to edit the restaurant description. The editor shows a character count and accepts plain text. If the store is linked, you can:
- Import from Google to load the current description into the editor.
- Optimize with AI to create a suggested draft.
- Save to store the description and sync it to Google.
Menuella shows whether the store is synced or not linked. A saved description can be stored in Menuella even when the Google connection is unavailable; check the sync message after saving.
Posts
Open Google Business → Posts to compose and publish a Google Business post. Enter a summary, optionally add an image URL, and choose a call-to-action link such as the restaurant’s online ordering page. You can also use Generate weekly special to draft the post with Menuella AI, then review the text and link before publishing it.
Published posts appear below the composer with their date, state, and whether they were drafted by Menuella AI. Posts require the store to be linked to Google.
Connection and sync states
Google Business work is store-specific. A linked store can show profile data, save description changes, publish posts, and supply reviews to supported Menuella surfaces. A store that is not linked can still open the dashboard area, but Google-dependent actions remain unavailable until the connection is completed.
After saving a profile description or publishing a post, check the status shown by the page. Synced means Menuella has confirmed the Google connection; Not linked means the selected store has no connected Google location; an error or pending state means the Google operation needs to be retried or checked in Google Business.
Store context and connection
If no restaurant or store is selected, the page asks you to select one before loading data. Confirm the restaurant and store in the top-right context before importing, editing, or publishing. Google Business is available only when the Google Business feature is enabled for the account. For a multi-location restaurant, repeat the connection for every Google location that Menuella should manage.
