Content & editorial guidelines

Last updated:

Transparency is the foundation of how we work. On this page we set out the principles behind everything we publish — guides, product pages and blog posts — so you can always understand how our content is made and why we publish it. Our goal: to give restaurateurs well-founded knowledge that helps them succeed in a digital market.

1. Our standard and our quality

Menuella is a commercial provider of an all-in-one platform for hospitality. We believe in our software, so on our product pages and in our guides we show, specifically, how our technology makes day-to-day restaurant work noticeably easier. Our content is for existing customers who want to get the most out of Menuella and for restaurateurs approaching digitalisation for the first time.

  • Grounded in practice: We write about approaches whose effect we have observed in the field, with real businesses.

  • Evidence over hype: Where solid studies or data exist, we name and link the original source. We would rather say “it depends on the individual case” than artificially overstate a result.

2. Honesty about numbers, results and reviews

  • No illusory success: Every metric, average and worked example is illustrative. It shows what is possible, but it is not a promise of success. Business results always depend on the individual concept, the location and how the platform is used operationally. We do not guarantee specific revenue.

  • Real voices: We never invent ratings, testimonials or reviews. Every piece of feedback and every star rating we publish comes from real, verifiable customers. What we cannot substantiate, we leave out.

3. Responsible use of AI

Menuella is an AI-powered platform. We also use artificial intelligence to create our own content — and we say so openly.

We use large language models (LLMs) to structure articles, to generate ideas, for style and grammar checks, and to translate our guides into different languages.

Our limits with AI

Some of our international content (especially automated translations) is AI-generated and then reviewed step by step by human native speakers. This means: not every word is finally human-edited at the moment of publication.

Product facts, legally relevant statements and figures are always checked by a person before they go live. We do not publish unchecked raw output (“copy & paste”) as finished articles.

4. Independence: advertising and links

  • No paid opinion: Our content informs and shows what our platform does. We receive no payment for mentioning third-party providers or tools positively. If we ever enter a collaboration, it is unmistakably labelled as advertising in the text.

  • No link trading: We do not run active link exchanges. We decline offers for paid guest posts or “SEO link deals” as a matter of principle, to protect the integrity of our site.

5. Keeping content current

Hospitality is dynamic — legal, tax and regulatory requirements change continuously. We work to review our core guides regularly for currency and accuracy. For substantial updates, we make the update date transparent to our readers.

Please note: our content is for information and does not constitute legal or tax advice.

6. Language and inclusion

We write for everyone who moves hospitality forward. Our goal is to explain complex digital processes in an understandable, accessible way, without unnecessary jargon. Across every language, we take care to use inclusive, appreciative and respectful language.

7. Feedback and corrections

Where people work, mistakes happen. If you notice a factual or content error in our texts, we welcome your note. Simply send the link and the relevant passage to hello@menuella.com. We will check and correct it promptly.
