How to Delete a Category
Remove a menu category from Menuella, or hide it when its products may be needed again later.
Delete a category only when it should no longer be part of the menu structure. If the category is seasonal or temporarily unavailable, hide it instead.
Delete a category
- Open Menu → Categories.
- Find the category in the list.
- Select the delete action.
- Review the confirmation message.
- Confirm Delete Category.
Review the products assigned to the category before deleting it. Products may need to be assigned to another category afterward.
Hide instead of deleting
Turn the category’s availability off when you want to remove it from the guest menu temporarily. This keeps the category and its products intact.
