Assign tables and combine tables
Place a reservation at a suitable table, move it when plans change, or combine tables for a larger party.
Menuella can assign one or more tables to a reservation. Use the booking details for a quick assignment, or use the Service floor when seating guests during the shift.
Assign a table from the booking
- Open the booking from the agenda or Service view.
- Choose Assign table or Reassign table.
- Review the available tables, their capacity, and any booking conflict.
- Select a table and choose Assign.
- If the table is already booked for an overlapping time, review the warning before choosing Assign anyway.
Choose Unassign when the booking should no longer hold a table.
Seat a party from the floor
- Open Reservations → Service.
- Select the booking you are seating.
- Select one or more available tables on the floor plan.
- Choose Seat.
When several tables are selected, Menuella keeps them together on the same booking. A table occupied by another active booking cannot be selected for that party.
Table availability depends on the selected store, reservation time, party size, table capacity, and other bookings.
