Menuella Point of Sale

An AI-powered restaurant point of sale that runs the counter on the same foundation as your online, phone, kiosk and app orders — one live menu, one order flow, one set of guest and sales data. Menuella Point of Sale is in Preview.

Orders appear here as they are sent

Counter, web, app, kiosk and phone orders share one queue — the pass does not care which channel took them.

Ring up an order on the till — it lands on the pass, in the same queue as the web, app, kiosk and phone orders arriving beside it.

One POS. Every restaurant order channel.

Website, mobile app, kiosk, AI phone and the counter are not four integrations stitched to a till. They already share the same Menuella menu, guest and order layer — the POS is where that layer meets your dining room.

What the layer holds

  • Live menu, prices and modifiers
  • Availability across channels
  • Guest profile and loyalty
  • Orders and kitchen flow
  • Reporting per location

Menu → POS → order → payment → kitchen → guest → analytics

The counter follows the same path as a web, app, kiosk or phone order: priced from the live menu, sent into the same operational flow, attached to the guest, and counted in the same reporting.

Why this is not another standalone register

Website, mobile app, kiosk, AI phone and the counter are not four integrations stitched to a till. They already share the same Menuella menu, guest and order layer — the POS is where that layer meets your dining room.

  • Not another standalone register

Most restaurant POS systems start at the till and bolt channels on afterwards. Menuella starts from the menu and guest data your channels already run on, and adds the counter to it.

  • AI that has something to work with

Recommendations and operational insight are only as good as the context behind them. Because orders, guests, menu and availability sit in one place, the intelligence has the full picture rather than one channel's slice.

  • Consistent across every location

Multi-location operators work from one data layer, so menus, pricing and reporting stay comparable between venues instead of drifting per till.

Why a restaurant POS should not be an island

The usual setup is a till that knows about the dining room, plus a delivery tablet, plus a website, plus whatever takes the phone calls — four systems with four versions of the menu and no shared idea of who the guest is. Every price change is done four times, every sold-out item is announced four times, and the reporting only adds up after someone exports and merges it. Menuella Point of Sale takes the opposite route: the menu, the guest and the order already live in one layer, and the counter is another way into it. That is also what makes the AI useful — it is reading one restaurant, not four disconnected feeds.

  • Rung up against the live menu
  • Priced with current modifiers
  • Into the same operational queue
  • Attached to the guest
  • Counted in one report

Point of Sale FAQ

Is Menuella Point of Sale available today?

It is in Preview. Book a demo to see the current state and to talk through what a rollout would look like for your venue — the page describes the direction of the product, not a finished feature list.

How is this different from Menuella Terminal?

Menuella Terminal is the physical device on your counter — a screen with built-in thermal printing. Point of Sale is the software layer that runs the sale, the menu and the order flow. They are designed to work together, but they are not the same product.

Does it replace my online ordering setup?

No — it joins it. Online ordering, AI phone ordering, kiosk and app orders keep working as they do; the POS adds the counter to the same menu, guest and order layer instead of running beside it.

What about TSE and KassenSichV in Germany?

German fiscal requirements, including TSE and KassenSichV workflows, are part of the requirements considered for the German POS rollout. We do not claim certification or compliance status while the product is in Preview — ask us directly about the current position for your venue.

Does it work across several locations?

Multi-location operators are a core part of the design: menus, pricing and reporting are meant to come from one shared data layer rather than being configured per till, so venues stay comparable.

How is this different from a traditional cash register?

A traditional till records a sale and stops there. This is a cloud POS for restaurants: an integrated restaurant POS that shares one live menu, guest profile and order queue with your website, app, kiosk and phone agent. That is what makes it an omnichannel restaurant POS rather than a register with connectors bolted on — closer to a restaurant operating system than a point-of-sale terminal.
