| Term | Meaning |

| Restaurant owner | The person responsible for the restaurant account |
| Store / Location | A physical restaurant location with its own menu, orders, and hours |
| Merchant context | The restaurant selected in the selector at the top right of the dashboard; Store settings apply to this active context |
| Category | Menu group (e.g. Starters, Mains, Drinks) — organizes products |
| Product | A menu item guests order (e.g. Margherita Pizza, Cappuccino) |
| Modifier | Option attached to a product — Variant (size), Addon (extra), or Instruction |
| Cart | The guest's order before checkout |
| Points | Loyalty currency — guests earn 10 points per €1 spent |
| Redeem value | How many points = 1 free item (set per product in Loyalty & Rewards) |
| Welcome bonus | Points new guests receive on first registration |
| Stamp card | Loyalty program where guests earn points and redeem for free items (buy 10, get 11th free) |
| Segment | Guest group — VIP, Regular, New, At risk |
| At risk | Guests who ordered before but haven't ordered lately — good to re-engage |
| Order status | New → Accepted → Ready or Out for Delivery → Completed (or Canceled) |
| Pickup / Takeaway | Guest collects the order at your location |
| Delivery | You deliver the order to the guest's address |
| Preparation time | Minutes guests wait before pickup or delivery (set in Order settings) |
| Order capacity | Max orders you can handle at once — when reached, new guests see "at capacity" |
| Delivery zone | Area where you deliver — each zone can have its own fee and minimum order |
| Link Page | Your main public link — one URL with menu, ordering, social media, reviews, reservations, and more |
| Short link | Custom URL for campaigns (e.g. mnel.la/summer-promo) — track scans (clicks) |
| Scan | A click on a short link — shown in Discovery → Short Links |
| Discount | Promotion that applies automatically when conditions are met (no code) |
| Coupon | Code guests enter at checkout (e.g. WELCOME10) |
| Media gallery | Where you upload images (Your Gallery) or pick from Menuella Stock |
| Menuella Stock | Curated library of images you can use for products and categories |
| Allergens | Regulated ingredients (e.g. gluten, milk, nuts) — shown on products for guest safety |
| Additives | Regulated substances (e.g. preservatives, coloring agents) — shown on products |
| Support ID | Your unique ID in the dashboard sidebar — include it when contacting support for faster help |
| Settlement | Summary of sales, fees, and payouts for a period — in Financial reports |
| Variant | Modifier type — size or option (e.g. Small, Medium, Large) |
| Addon | Modifier type — extra item (e.g. extra cheese, side salad) |
| Instruction | Modifier type — special request (e.g. no onions, extra sauce) |
