Reservations
Manage bookings, table service, floor layouts, walk-ins, and the waitlist for your restaurant.
The Reservations workspace brings bookings and dining-room service into one place. Before making a change, confirm that the correct store is selected in the merchant context. Reservation rules, tables, and live service activity belong to that store.
Where to find it: Reservations in the main dashboard navigation
Choose the workspace mode
- Service — Run today’s service from the floor plan. Review bookings, table status, arrivals, seated parties, walk-ins, and the waitlist.
- Reservations — Search and filter bookings across upcoming dates. Open a booking to review details, update its status, or assign tables.
- Edit layout — Build the dining-room layout with rooms, tables, and visual decorations. This layout is used by the Service view.
- Settings — Configure automatic confirmation, table turn time, buffers, booking intervals, party limits, lead time, and advance-booking limits.
See the focused guides:
- Use the Service workspace — Run the floor for a selected day and shift.
- Manage the reservation agenda — Search, filter, and open bookings across dates.
- Update a reservation — Confirm, seat, complete, cancel, or mark a guest as a no-show.
- Assign tables and combine tables — Place a party on one or more available tables.
- Manage walk-ins and the waitlist — Add a waiting party and move it through service.
- Design the dining-room layout — Create rooms, tables, and floor-plan details.
- Configure reservation rules — Control how guests can book.
The public booking experience uses these store rules to calculate available times and tables. Changing a rule or table layout can affect future availability, so review the result before sharing the booking page.
Shared store context
Reservations are store-specific. If your merchant account has multiple locations:
- Select the restaurant and store you want to manage.
- Open Reservations.
- Confirm the store context before editing the floor, settings, waitlist, or a booking.
Menuella uses the same reservation record across supported merchant surfaces. The layout may differ in future mobile or terminal experiences, but the store, booking, table, and status logic remains shared.
