Website
Build, edit, preview, and publish the restaurant website from the Menuella dashboard.
The Website builder lets you manage the restaurant’s public website from the dashboard. It is a visual, store-aware editor: changes stay in a draft until you publish them.
Where to find it: Website in the main dashboard navigation
Work in the builder
The builder has three main areas:
- Pages — edit the built-in Home and Menu pages, supported service pages, and custom pages. Home and Menu remain at the top; other pages can be reordered. You can create up to ten custom pages.
- Preview — switch pages in the browser-style preview and review the visitor-facing result while you edit.
- Add block — add supported content blocks from the library. Blocks are grouped as Hero, Showcase, Story, Trust, Conversion, and Help. Some blocks provide live menu data, and new image defaults can use the restaurant’s cuisine.
Edit text directly in the preview and use the block controls for supported content. Pages for disabled optional services remain visible to the owner but are locked and cannot be published until the service is enabled under Services.

Store context and live data
The Website builder uses the restaurant and store selected in the merchant context. Menu blocks, availability, service-page capabilities, brand details, and the Reviews widget use that store’s data. Confirm the context before editing a multi-location website.
Some blocks are authored content, such as text, images, and calls to action. Other blocks are live data, such as menu showcases and reviews. Live blocks update from the connected restaurant data; changing their source data does not require rewriting the block.
Add the Reviews Widget
The Reviews block is a live-data widget in the Trust group. It displays the active store’s connected Google reviews on the public website. Reviews are not entered or edited in the Website builder, so the site cannot publish invented or placeholder testimonials.
- Select the restaurant and store in the top-right merchant context.
- Open Website, choose the page where the widget should appear, and select Add block.
- Open the Trust group and choose Reviews.
- If Google Business is not connected, select Manage Google Business in the block’s message. This opens Google Business → Profile, where the store’s profile connection is managed by Menuella.
- Return to the Website builder and check the widget in the preview. Publish the draft when the page is ready.
The widget uses reviews from the selected store’s connected Google Business Profile. The builder displays active five-star reviews with a comment of at least 60 characters, using the newest qualifying reviews and up to three items. If the profile is connected but no review meets those requirements, the builder shows an empty-state message and the live website hides the empty widget.
For the connection and profile workflow, see Google Business. For review replies and review-management settings, see Reviews.
Publishing
- Open Website and select the active restaurant in the top-right context.
- Choose a page and edit its content or add blocks.
- Review the draft in the preview.
- Select Publish in the dashboard header.
- Review the change summary in the confirmation dialog and confirm.
The publish control shows whether the site is live and whether it has unpublished changes. The confirmation lists pages added, removed, or edited and the block-level changes. Until you confirm, the live website remains unchanged.
Publishing applies the draft for the selected restaurant and store. A change made in the dashboard does not automatically publish an unfinished Website draft.
Page visibility and drafts
Use a page’s status to move it between Draft and Published. Use its visibility control to include or exclude it from the public site navigation. Deleting a custom page requires confirmation; the built-in Home and Menu pages cannot be deleted.
AI-assisted changes
An approved AI assistant may be able to edit supported website content when the connection has the required permission. Review those changes in the draft before publishing.
