How to Update a Product Image
Add, replace, or update a menu product image using Your Gallery or Menuella Stock.
Product images are managed from the product row or product editor through the Media Gallery.
Add or replace an image
- Open Menu → Products.
- Select the product image or open the product editor.
- Open the Media Gallery.
- Choose an image from Your Gallery or Menuella Stock.
- Select the image and save the product if the editor asks you to confirm the change.
The selected image becomes the product’s current image_url and is used wherever that product appears on the guest-facing menu.
Choose the right source
- Your Gallery — Use an image uploaded or stored by your restaurant.
- Menuella Stock — Choose a suitable image from Menuella’s curated library.
Use Media Gallery to upload and organize restaurant-owned images before assigning them to products.
Tips
- Use a clear image that represents the actual product.
- Keep images consistent across products and categories.
- Replace the image when the product changes instead of creating a duplicate product.
