Menuella Terminal Troubleshooting
Diagnose sign-in, network, offline, order-connection, and printing problems in Menuella Terminal.
Use this guide when Menuella Terminal cannot sign in, is not receiving orders, or shows an offline state.
If Terminal is offline
- Confirm that Wi‑Fi or cellular data is available on the device.
- Open Terminal's drawer and choose Help → Network diagnostics.
- Check the network type, Wi‑Fi SSID, IP address, API latency, and WebSocket state.
- Open Wi‑Fi settings from Terminal, reconnect, and return to the app.
- Use Try again on the offline screen.
Orders are not available offline for security. Reconnect before continuing order service.
If sign-in does not complete
- Make sure the QR code or user code is current.
- Complete sign-in on the phone, tablet, or desktop browser opened from the Terminal screen.
- Approve the request that belongs to the Terminal in front of you.
- If the code expired, return to the Terminal welcome screen and start a new authorization request.
- Confirm that the signed-in account has access to the intended restaurant.
If Terminal does not receive new orders
- Confirm that the correct store is selected in the Terminal drawer.
- Open Help → Network diagnostics and check the WebSocket state and API latency.
- Confirm that orders are not paused in Order Settings.
- Restart Terminal after restoring the network connection.
- If the session is no longer valid, restart Terminal and follow the authentication screen again.
If printing fails
- Check the printer status shown by Terminal.
- Confirm paper and the printer cover on the Sunmi device.
- Use Settings → Printing & receipts → Test receipt.
- If customer receipts work but kitchen tickets do not, check the kitchen-print settings and whether kitchen printing is enabled for the store.
If the Terminal is being reassigned
Use Settings → Reset device / Unpair to remove the saved sign-in and store data. The next person can then authorize the Terminal with their own account using the QR code shown on first launch.
