Where to find it: Discovery → Short Links
What a short link contains
Each row in the Short Links workspace can show:
- A name for internal reference
- The short code and public short URL
- The HTTPS destination URL
- Active, inactive, or archived status
- Total scans
- Creation and update dates
Short links are store-scoped. In a selected store context, the list shows that store’s links. In merchant context, owners can review links across stores; creating or changing a link still requires choosing the target store.
Create a short link
- Open Discovery → Short Links.
- Select Create short link.
- Enter a name and an HTTPS destination URL.
- Leave the code empty to let Menuella generate one, or enter a unique five-character letter-and-number code.
- Select Create.
Menuella creates an active redirect link. Use it in social profiles, campaigns, QR codes, email, printed materials, or a specific ordering campaign.
Manage and measure links
Open a link to update its name, destination, or code. The short URL remains the campaign identifier, so update the destination when a campaign changes instead of printing a new code. Use the scan count to compare channels and campaigns.
To stop a link, change its status to Inactive. Deactivation is reversible; the link is not permanently deleted by the dashboard workflow. Reactivate it when the destination is valid again.
Use Link Page for a permanent public collection of restaurant links, and use Short Links when you need a trackable redirect for a specific campaign.
