Set how long customers need to wait for their orders. This affects both pickup and delivery.
Where to find it: Store → Order settings → Preparation Time
What to Set
| Setting | What it controls |

| Pickup | How many minutes customers must wait before they can pick up their order |
| Delivery | How many minutes customers must wait before their order can be delivered |
Enter the time in minutes. Customers see this when placing an order and when their order will be ready.
How to Configure
- Go to Store → Order settings
- Open the Preparation Time section
- Enter minutes for pickup — e.g. 15 for a 15-minute wait
- Enter minutes for delivery — often longer than pickup (e.g. 30–45) to account for travel time
Set realistic times — underestimate and you'll have stressed customers waiting. Delivery is usually longer than pickup — add time for the driver to reach the customer. Adjust for busy periods — you may need to increase times during peak hours (consider Order Capacity).
